First a quick disclaimer - One result of the ever-climbing standards here at a.net is that we photographers become much better at what we do. Want proof? Have a look at a photo you may have uploaded (or TRIED to upload) two years ago. Now look at your most recent upload. 'Nuff said! This place makes us better photographers (even though the rejections make us raging alcoholics).Ok I sold seven photos to a company to use for a trade show. Since this advertising company does all of the work for the airline I took photos of - I quoted them a price for "one time use only" - meaning this trade show booth. I don't want to give them a carte blanc to use my photos for anything and everything they please. So my question is - how do I phrase this on the invoice? Is there some legal way of "granting them a one-time use license" (or is it just that simple to cut and paste that phrase into the line item on the invoice?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
